First Playful Teaser for Lea Michele-Starring 'Dorothy of Oz'
Movie

Michele's titular character must help Tin Man, Chine Princess, Tugg, Lion and Scarecrow fight the wicked Jester, who takes control of Oz.

AceShowbiz - Summertime Entertainment's animated movie "Dorothy of Oz" has unleashed its very first teaser trailer. Staying true to its family-friendly genre, the video presents various famous creatures from the "Oz" tale and plenty of playfully colorful scenes.

Lea Michele's titular character is featured adventuring with Tin Man, Lion, China Princess, Tugg and Scarecrow in a fantasy world of Oz which is ruled by villainous Jester. At the end of the trailer, the "Glee" star can be heard showing off her powerful vocal chops when her song plays as the backsound.

In "Dorothy of Oz", Dorothy Gale returns to Kansas to find it devastated by the tornado that had whisked her away to the magical Land of Oz. Before Dorothy can even begin to react to or resist this change, she is transported back to Oz by equally magical methods as her first trip.

Oz is in trouble, and the people there need her help: Dorothy's old friends - the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion - have disappeared and the land is in a state of decay. Dorothy must help this odd group band together against a wicked new villian; a Jester who thinks all of Oz should be under his own control.

The Dan St. Pierre-directed animation still hasn't got a U.S. release date. Also joining the voice cast ensemble are Dan Aykroyd as Scarecrow, James Belushi as Lion, Kelsey Grammer as Tin Man, Megan Hilty as China Princess, Patrick Stewart as Tugg, and Martin Short as The Jester.
