Bobby Brown's Wife Rushed to Emergency Room

Alicia Etheredge was brought to an Orlando hospital after suffering a seizure at a hotel room in Kissimmee.

AceShowbiz - Bobby Brown took his plea for prayers to Twitter when his wife of three months, Alicia Etheredge, was rushed to an Orlando hospital after suffering a seizure. He wrote, "The report that my wife was rushed to the hospital is true. She is recovering and in good spirits. Please keep my family in your prayers."

According to Gossip Extra, Brown was doing a soundcheck in preparation for New Edition's 30th anniversary celebration concert when he was informed that his wife, who also serves as his manager, was not feeling well. She had seizure at their hotel room in Kissimmee, Fla., while he was at the Gaylord Palms Resort.

The singer made it back on time for his performance of headlining the 10th Annual Tom Joyner Family Reunion. He even announced that he was seven and a half years off of narcotics, 21 days clean of alcohol. He also said, "I go by the name Bad Ass Bobby Brown."

The singer, who failed to complete a 90-day rehab for his alcoholism this year, gave credits to Alicia for helping him stay away from drugs. He said she gave him a new life after his 2007 divorce with fellow singer, Whitney Houston.

Brown was quoted as saying, "I got my passion back for music and for loving myself because of her. At times when it gets really hard, she's right there, you know, to hold me and tell me, 'Look at where you came from and look at where you are right now.' I'm just so grateful to her."

The couple married in Honolulu, HI June of this year in front of their closest family and friends, following a very public engagement on stage in Metro Park in Jacksonville, FL. The couple already has a 3-year old son named Cassius.
