It did not take long for the teen to go back tweeting after announcing his intention to leave the site due to abuse.

AceShowbiz - One Direction's Zayn Malik has rejoined Twitter a couple of days after announcing his exit from the micro blogging site. The 19-year-old left his account because he could not stand the abuse directed towards him, but then he realized that many of his fans were let down by his decision.

"Sorry, I was getting some abuse on twitter but I dont want to let my fans down," Malik tweeted apologetically on Thursday, August 23 morning. "So I am back!! :) x". He added, "And thanks for all your messages of support. I really do love all you guys, your support never ceases 2 amaze me xxx". He also retweeted supporting messages from his fans.

Malik was initially offended by the nasty messages about him. "The reason i don't tweet as much as i use to, is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that i get daily goodbye twitter :)" he wrote on Tuesday.

On his triumphant return, Malik even shared a "big news" for One Direction's fans. The band announced that very morning that "Live While We're Young", the first single from their second album is already available for pre-order ahead of the October 1 release.
