Justin Bieber to Visit 'The Simpsons'
TV

The 'Boyfriend' singer is going to make a cameo appearance, which has something to do with a talent show.

Justin Bieber will lend his voice to "The Simpsons". The Canadian pop sensation spilled the beans of his upcoming appearance on the FOX animated comedy as tweeting, "just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy."

The tweet has apparently been deleted, but "Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean confirms The Biebs will play himself on the show. "It's a cameo," he tells Entertainment Weekly, "but all of his fans should watch every minute of the show, before and after he's on."

Jean is also willing to share how the "Never Say Never" hitmaker gets into the story. "He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him," he says. The episode featuring Bieber is titled "The Fabulous Faker Boy" and will air sometime in 2013.

The new season of the long-running animated series will kick off Sunday, September 30 at 8 P.M. on FOX. Other guest stars for the season include Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Zooey Deschanel, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Edward Norton and Steve Carell.
