A single-camera comedy based on the actor's life has been pitched and reportedly is now in the middle of a bidding war among networks.

AceShowbiz - Michael J. Fox is indeed plotting a TV comeback. The report from Vulture that a new series around the actor's life is being developed has been confirmed by THR. A single-camera comedy project is on the way with "Arrested Development" scribe Sam Laybourne and "Easy A" director Will Gluck on board.
Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping the series around to broadcast networks. The interest is so high that it has launched a bidding war and even the offer to go straight to a full series. Rumor has it, the project will get automatic pilot production commitment. The studio is planning to launch the comedy next year.
Fox, famous for starring in "Family Ties" and "Back to the Future" trilogy, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991. He has since appeared sporadically on TV shows such as "Rescue Me", "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and the latest, "The Good Wife".
