AceShowbiz - "Superman Returns" star Brandon Routh is first time father to a baby boy. His actress wife Courtney Ford gave birth to their first child on Friday, August 10, a representative confirmed to People.
The baby is named Leo James Routh, weighing 8 lbs. and measuring 20.5 inches upon birth. "We're in awe ...we can't take our eyes off him!" Leo's parents told People, with Routh adding Ford is a "rockstar".
Routh and Ford got married in November 2007 after three years of dating. They announced the pregnancy back in March. "It's been so hard keeping the news to ourselves," Routh admitted at that time. "Everyone on set keeps asking, 'Do you have kids?' and I've had to say, 'Well ... not yet!' It's the truth. The baby hasn't been born yet!"
