AceShowbiz - TLC has seemingly found a new hit series in "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". The reality show featuring "Toddlers & Tiaras" star Alana Thompson debuted to a total of 2.2 million viewers on Wednesday, August 8.
In the women 25-54/18-49/18-34 demo, the show was ranked No. 1 among other original shows on all ad-supported cable. It also placed second in the adults 18-49 demo with a 0.8 rating. "Dallas" season finale won the night in the coveted demo with a 1.3 rating.
A spin-off to "Toddlers & Tiaras", "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" follows Alana and her family in Georgia. From family outings to loud and crazy family get-togethers, the show takes viewers off the pageant stage and into the unapologetically-outrageous family life of the Honey Boo Boo clan.
It will return Wednesday, August 15 at 10 P.M. ET/PT with two all-new episodes.
