The singer was arrested back in June at a Prague airport in connection to the death of a fan in 2010.

singer Randy Blythe has been released from a Czech prison in which he had spent the last five weeks on accusation of manslaughter. The 41-year-old has posted a 400,000 bail and is returning to the United States.

Prosecutors took him into custody because the singer may not return to the country. He was arrested on June 27 at an airport in Prague and charged with manslaughter stemming from the death of a fan in 2010. It was alleged that Blythe pushed the fan, identified as Daniel N., causing an injury to the head which killed the fan 14 days later.

Blythe maintained his innocence because he said he could not have remembered what happened at a concert that happened two years ago. Lamb of God were playing at Prague's Club Abaton, and Blythe said he remembered "very few details" about the show. "I did not attack anyone," he told a newspaper from behind bars. "The only way I could have come into contact with anyone from the audience was if I was protecting myself."

With Blythe's return to the U.S., Lamb of God are moving forward with the plan to play Knotfest shows on August 17 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and August 18 in Somerset, Wisconsin. The rock band will also kick off a U.S. tour starting October 26.
