The actor has resolved the issue of him allegedly shoving a female bartender at Absinthe House with the New Orleans police.

AceShowbiz - Cuba Gooding Jr.'s representative dismissed the report that the actor is a wanted man by calling it a "misunderstanding". The "American Gangster" star was initially investigated for misdemeanor battery after allegedly shoving a female bartender against the wall.

According to some reports, Gooding Jr. was irritated by some people who recognized him at the Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street early Tuesday, July 31 morning. A female bartender allegedly tried to calm him down but got shoved twice. An arrest warrant for the actor was issued afterwards.

But Gooding Jr.'s rep said they have resolved the issue. "There is no warrant. Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding," the rep told TMZ.
