Leopold Ross, whose sister is married to the director, said Sanders began the relationship with Stewart in the second half filming of 'Snow White and the Huntsman'.

AceShowbiz - A new claim about Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders' affair said that the "momentary indiscretion" that Stewart mentioned in her public apology was actually more than half a year long. Sanders' brother-in-law, Leopold Ross, revealed it all.

"It was from the last half of filming and all through post-production, clear into last week," Ross told British newspaper The People. The film was shot between September 19 to December 10 last year, meaning the so-called 'fling' lasted around eight months.

Ross, whose sister Liberty Ross played Stewart's mother in "Snow White and the Huntsman", said she made sacrifices for Sanders' career. The British actress moved to America with their two children to support Sanders' dream of becoming a successful Hollywood director. "She made some sacrifices for something she thought was worth it, now she knows, right? Five minutes from her home," Leopold Ross said.

However, another report said that she has forgiven her husband. "She is prepared to give Rupert a second chance," one of Ross' friends told Telegraph UK. "She accepts that it was just one of those silly flirtations."

Meanwhile, Stewart's boyfriend Robert Pattinson, who is rumored to have moved out of their love nest, reportedly wanted a one-on-one time with Sanders. "Rob wants to have a man-to-man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen," a source close to Pattinson told RadarOnline.
