Amy Winehouse's catalog of music continues to make sales in the past 12 months after her death in July 2011.

AceShowbiz - Late singer Amy Winehouse has managed to stay on the charts after her passing. It has been a year since the star died on July 23, 2011, and while her short career did not leave a vast catalog of her music, whatever little she left behind is still selling.
She sold 855,000 albums in the United States since her death with 110,000 of the sum sold within eight days after her passing, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In digital downloads of songs, the songstress moved 1.15 million in the U.S. since she passed away, 281,000 of which was sold in the eight days after her death.
"Back to Black" was the only record from the late star to make the top ten on Billboard Hot 200 during her lifetime, peaking at No. 2. It re-entered the chart at No. 9 after her passing. On the August 13, 2011 chart, a week after the re-entry, it climbed two notches to No. 7.
Her posthumous album, "Lioness: Hidden Treasures", sold a total of 423,000 units nationwide. The album, which was released in December 2011, debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the the album chart after selling 114,000 in its first week.
"Body and Soul", a duet by Winehouse and Tony Bennett, was released on what would have been the late songstress' 28th birthday on September 14 last year. It pulled in 73,000 downloads and was awarded a Grammy for best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Winehouse's death was caused by an accidental alcohol overdose. She had 416 mg of alcohol per deciliter of blood, five times the legal limit, in her system at the time of her death.
