AceShowbiz - After "The Bachelorette" finale, there were more stories to share from newly-engaged couple Emily Maynard and Jef Holm as well as the reject Arie Luyendyk, Jr. in "After the Final Rose". Emily came out solo first, saying she's still engaged to Jef and that he made her feel more confident in herself than ever before.

Arie was later invited to join Emily. He admitted he still had feelings for her, but understood how much she loved Jef after watching the show. Arie went on claiming he just wanted to know why she picked Jef over him. Emily then explained she had more confidence in her relationship with Jef.

Arie revealed after he went home heartbroken, he booked a flight to Charlotte because he wanted a closure off camera. Once he got there, he felt it wasn't right to see Emily, so he just called her and left his journal on her doorstep. Emily brought the journal to the studio, but claimed she didn't read it and returned it to Arie.

After Arie left the stage, Jef showed up and sat next to his fiancee. He sang praises for Emily and talked about how they spent time together with her daughter Ricki secretly. Host Chris Harrison then showed footage of their proposal. Asked why she took a moment before saying "yes," Emily admitted she was in fear of the future.

Talking about their plans, they revealed they would do a humanitarian trip to Africa. Jef also announced he's moving to Charlotte to get closer to Emily and would find his own place. As for a wedding, Emily admitted they have talked about that and said would love to have "a spring wedding."
