First 'Resident Evil: Retribution' Clip Sees Alice as Killer Machine
Movie

The lead heroine shows off her prodigious fighting skill as she heartlessly slaughters a host of flesh-eating zombies without a help from anyone.

AceShowbiz - A fan-made clip of "Resident Evil: Retribution" has hit the web. Highlighting leading lady Alice, the video offers an action-packed scene as the heroine mercilessly slays a bunch of zombies by her own. At the end of the video, a woman is seen getting ready to attack the warrioress by bursting a flesh-eating creature from her mouth.

In "Resident Evil 5", the Umbrella Corporation's deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming global population into legions of monstrous Undead. The human race's last and only hope, Alice, awakens in the heart of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex.

Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion.

The video game-adapted movie recently held a panel at Comic-Con, where director/screenwriter Paul W.S. Anderson hinted at the end of the franchise. Dubbing the fifth "RE" movie "the beginning of the end," Anderson revealed that he wanted to bring Alice's story to its conclusion soon. "I really want to bring this to a closure," he stated. "If we did do another one, I really want to end this story."

Reprising the role of Alice is none other than Anderson's own wife, Milla Jovovich. She is joined in the cast ensemble by Li Bingbing as Ada Wong, Johann Urb as Leon Kennedy, Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine, Boris Kodjoe as Luther West, Kevin Durand as Barry Burton, and Michelle Rodriguez as Rain Ocampo.

The fifth installment of the "Resident Evil" film series is due to open wide in the U.S. on September 14.

UPDATE (July 23, 2012 05:21 GMT): The "Resident Evil: Retribution" video was not an official promotional material released by Screen Gems. It was apparently a fan-made video which came out via Resident Evil Retribution 2012 Facebook page.
