Captain Hook is coming to the second season of the fantasy series as the new villain although it is not known yet who plays the character.

AceShowbiz - Those in attendance of "Once Upon a Time" San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, July 14 were treated with a video that reveals the next baddie. The fairy tale series is bringing one of the most notorious villains of Disney, Captain Hook, to terrorize Storybrook in season 2.

"Bad things are still happening in Storybrook," Henry said in the video. "Really bad things. We need your help more than ever. And if you still don't believe me, take a look a this." A man whose face not shown broke into Mr. Gold's pawn shop with only one goal, to claim back his hook.

The audience did not get the chance to hear any hint about this new character because the footage was shown at the very end of the panel. In the middle of the Q & A session, producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsiss said they would love to bring in Aladdin and Little Mermaid but would also add other characters outside Disney. "We would love to be able to draw from stories from all over the world," Horowitz said.

Also saved for the next season, the identities of Henry's father and Dr. Whale will be revealed, so will the fate of Mr. Gold's son Bae.
