Oliver Queen Attacks His Kidnappers in New 'Arrow' Clip

July 13, 2012, 9:05 am GMT

The billionaire playboy takes down his abductors, who earlier interrogated him about whether or not his father survived the shipwreck.

Oliver Queen engages in a heavy showdown with his kidnappers in a new clip from "Arrow". The billionaire playboy gets tasered by one of the masked guys, but he soon turns the table after managing to remove the chord that ties his hands. He chases down one of his abductors who tries to run away and shows no mercy when he captures the culprit.

"Arrow" follows Oliver who returns home to Starling City after being presumed dead for five years in a violent shipwreck. Determining to fight the ills of society and restore Starling City to its former glory, he moonlights as a vigilante and creates the persona of Arrow.

Stephen Amell leads the action drama series with Katie Cassidy, Colin Donnell and David Ramsey taking supporting roles. It will debut on Wednesday, October 10 at 8 P.M. ET on The CW. The show's pilot will be screened at its Comic-Con panel on Friday, July 13 starting at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
