AceShowbiz - San Diego Comic-Con will host a "Firefly" reunion, but those who are unable to come to the convention can still witness the nostalgic moment on their own televisions. Science Channel, which is currently airing repeats of the space western series, is planning a new one-hour special that chronicles the event to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary.

Titled "Browncoats Unite", the special will feature footage of lead star Nathan Fillion, creator Joss Whedon and some other original team members at the Comic-Con panel on Friday, July 13. It will additionally see the cast in an in-depth behind-the-scenes roundtable interview.

"Firefly is a landmark work of science fiction and a favorite with our viewers," said Debbie Myers, general manager and executive vp of Science. "Ever since it premiered on Science, fans have asked us to do something special to mark its 10-year anniversary. With this signature celebration, punctuated by Browncoats Unite, we will connect the minds behind this classic franchise with its legions of passionate fans."

"Browncoats Unite" will premiere Sunday, November 11 on Science.

The "Firefly" panel will take place on Day 2 of Comic-Con starting at 12:30 P.M. in Ballroom 20. Joining Fillion are co-stars Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher and Michael Fairman. The event will present never-before-seen footage as well as "numerous buzz-worthy surprises."
