The 'Joyful Noise' actress wants to 'bring a child home' after watching a movie, saying she's 'totally serious' with her plan.

AceShowbiz - Queen Latifah wants to follow the footsteps of Sandra Bullock and Katherine Heigl to adopt a baby. The 42-year-old actress revealed her adoption plan when appearing on "The View" recently, saying, "I'm actually kind of working on that."
The Golden Globe winner explained where she got the idea. "I think I saw one of those specials...you know those movies of the week," she opened up. "And it was like...I just always wanted to bring a child home."
Although her representative told PEOPLE there's "nothing new to report," Latifah convinced "The View" hosts that she's "totally serious" about the adopation. "So if you got a kid that you don't (want)... Just give me a year - let me set up camp and send me the kid," she added.
