While Nigel Lythgoe is possibly joking when saying that he wants Sheen and Lewis on 'Idol', the 'Anger Management' actor lays out several conditions that must be met before he signs up.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen and Jerry Lewis have been mentioned as possible new judges on "American Idol". Per TMZ's report, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said he wanted to have the two actors in the show's season 12. According to the site, Lythgoe would not confirm if he was joking, "but he repeated his wish list several times during the conversation."

While people doubt if Lythgoe meant what he said about Sheen and Lewis, the former "Two and a Half Men" star seemingly didn't rule out the possibility of him joining the FOX reality series. He even mentioned several conditions that must be met before he would seal the deal.

First, FX, which currently airs his sitcom "Anger Management", must sign off on an "Idol" deal. The other requirement is about salary. "If the numbers move the needle and 'Idol' matches 20|percent| of my weekly salary for Autism Speaks, JDRF, and the Boys and Girls Club ... then the hell with it. As we say, pour the smoke," the 46-year-old actor reportedly said.

Previously, Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, will.i.am and Stacy Ferguson were also reported being considered to judge singing hopefuls on the FOX show. Lambert has admitted that he "would love that" if he was offered the job, but Perry said she wouldn't be available.

"People have reached out to me about the possibility of being involved, and it's not right for me yet," so she told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's a real commitment to be on one of those shows. ... I have ideas for two or three big, creative things, and I want to be able to fulfill those ideas."

The shakeup rumors came following speculations about whether or not Jennifer Lopez would return to the singing competition for her third year. Though it was said that "Idol" execs wanted her to be back, she has not signed up just yet. Moreover, the fate of two other judges, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler , is also "up in the air."
