Speaking of his preparation to helm the ninth episode of season 5, the Walter White depicter reveals, 'I take opportunities before we're actually in production shooting.'

AceShowbiz - Bryan Cranston is going to sit behind the lens for one episode in the final season of "Breaking Bad". The actor, who has previously directed first episode of the series' season 2 and season 3, will direct the ninth episode of season 5, which will be split into two parts.
In an interview on Tuesday, July 10, the former "Malcolm in the Middle" actor admitted it's a hard work for him to take double duty at the same time. "As an actor on the show it's really, really difficult - if you're in it a lot obviously - to be able to prep so I take opportunities before we're actually in production shooting," he said, revealing that he would make use of a break in between the production to prepare his directing gig.
On his character Walter White, Cranston dished that the meth manufacturer would change in the next chapter. "There's something else that is driving Mr. White now. It's not just making money. It's something else," the Emmy Award winner teased.
The 56-year-old additionally said he's open to a possibility of starring in a "Breaking Bad" movie if there's any. However, Cranston didn't know if his character would still be around for the big-screen adaptation, "because only creator Vince Gilligan and his writing team know how the series ends," The Associated Press reported.
The first eight episodes of "Breaking Bad" season 5 will air beginning Sunday, July 15 at 10/9c on AMC. The remaining eight episodes will air next in summer 2013.
