The Gloria Pritchett of 'Modern Family' is proposed by her boyfriend during a vacation to celebrate her 40th birthday in Mexico.

AceShowbiz - Sofia Vergara rekindles romance with her on-and-off boyfriend Nick Loeb in a big way. According to multiple sources, the "Modern Family" actress was proposed by the businessman during a getaway in Mexico with family and friends to celebrate her 40th birthday.
"He 'popped the question' while at the Mayan archaeological ruins of Chichen Itza with the entire birthday entourage," a source told Celebuzz. One of her close friends Fernando Fiore tweeted a picture from the birthday celebration that featured Vergara rocking a supposed engagement ring.
Vergara stayed at the Rosewood Mayakoba spa resort in the Riviera Maya since the weekend. Her companions included co-stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen and Sarah Hyland. In addition to visiting Chichen Itza, she checked out Fort San Miguel in Campeche with her beau.
The group also had a dinner at Casa del Lago, dropped by Agave Azul for drinks, went on a boat ride to Cozumel, enjoyed another dinner at Punta Bonita, and threw a big party at the resort to toast the birthday girl. In one of the dinners, she got a bobblehead figurine in her image. "I have my own bubble head! Gracias Chi," she tweeted.
To her devotees, the mother of one asked them to make donations to her foundation Dreams Without Borders, that benefits orphans in her home country, in lieu of gifts. Fans can also draw birthday eCards for her on her official Giftiki page.
Vergara met Loeb at a Golden Globes party in 2010 and has dated him on and off ever since. She was previously married to Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993 and has one son, Manolo, with him. Of her recent engagement, "she was bouncing around and showing everyone the ring," an insider told E! News.
