AceShowbiz - Frank Ocean gets full support from his mother Katonya after the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All member officially came out of the closet. "My son is brave and honest and I am very proud of him. I wish more people in the world could be brave enough to be who they really are," the proud mother tweets.
She later shows her gratitude to Frank's supporters, "Thank you to all who have shown love and support. My son is the most incredible human I know. Honest, true and loving. We appreciate you!" She also retweets a supportive message from Solange Knowles who applauds her son, "I salute you, brave soul. Independence Day. @frank_ocean."
Frank opened up about his sexuality by posting on Tumblr the credits of his album, "Channel Orange", due in the U.S. on July 17. He revealed that his first love was with a man. "In the last year or 3 I've screamed at my creator," Ocean said. "Screamed at clouds in the sky. For some explanation. Mercy maybe. For peace of mind to rain like manna somehow."
Now that he comes out, the "Novacane" hitmaker feels "like a free man." He gushed, "If I listen closely ...I can hear the sky falling too." He is applauded by fellow bandmate Tyler, the Creator for his courage. He also gets words of support and congratulation from Russell Simmons and Chely Wright.
