The 'Video Games' hitmaker celebrates the U.S. independence day by taking the stage at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

AceShowbiz - Singer Lana Del Rey was in Switzerland for the Montreux Jazz Festival on 4th of July. The internet meme looked very modest when she appeared on stage at the Miles Davis Hall wearing a white lace mini dress. Her hair was adorned with white flowers which matched her dress quite well.

The singer who is a New York native performed nine tracks, including her latest single "National Anthem", mostly taken from her chart-busting album "Born to Die". She had a very tight set that only lasted 45 minutes, and did not return for an encore after her last song.

A spectator from Geneva, Dany Faigaux, said that while the show was good, it was too short. "She didn't even introduce the musicians," he added. Other fans said the same thing, explaining that while they enjoyed the show, they would have appreciated it more if it was longer.

She ended her set with "National Anthem" after thanking the audience for watching her show. "I hope you liked it, we're happy to be here on the 4th of July," she said. Images of Elvis Presley, John F. Kennedy, and fireworks were shown on the screens while she performed the song. "Okay guys, we'll see you," she said before leaving the stage.

The Montreux Jazz Festival is one of Europe's most prestigious summer festivals. It also features Bob Dylan and Hugh Laurie among other performers.
