The 'Nasty' rapper says 'Cherry Wine,' which is going to be included in his next album 'Life Is Good', came from 'God, and Amy.'

AceShowbiz - A new song from Nas' upcoming album "Life is Good" has surfaced online. Titled "Cherry Wine", the track which premiered on BBC's Radio 1 on Tuesday, July 3 night features the late Amy Winehouse. The single was produced by Salaam Remi, who frequently collaborated with both artists.
Gushing about "Cherry Wine", Nas told NME the song came from "God, and Amy." The 38-year-old MC additionally revealed the joint track was one of the songs he and Winehouse recorded together during their recording sessions in 2008.
"Salaam worked on her last album, and they were working," he shared how the song came about. "We don't even have an explanation for how it happened. It was just magic. It just happened. It was supposed to happen. She made it happen."
Another Nas and Winehouse duet, "Like Smoke", appeared on the "Rehab" songstress' album "Lioness: Hidden Treasures", which was released after her death in July 2011. Nas once shared that he was initially not keen on the idea of recording the posthumous duet with Winehouse.
"Part of me didn't want to do the song," Nas spoke about "Like Smoke". "Amy and I share a birthday, so she was my sister. And she was just so much fun to be around. She would say things about well-known people in the industry that she didn't like and it would just crack me up.. We are hoping she would pull through and come back."
Nas' upcoming studio installment "Life Is Good" is slated to come out July 17. In addition to the late soul singer, the album features collaborations with Drake, Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, Swizz Beatz and Heavy D.
