'Rizzoli and Isles' 3.06 Preview: Mask Party and Maura's Shocking Past

July 4, 2012 (3:40 am) GMT
Jane goes undercover to investigate the murder of a rich financier, while Maura is about to reveal her secret to her biological mother.

Jane will once again go undercover when she handles the next case on "". A rich financier is found stuffed in a trashcan wearing a cloak and mask, forcing Jane to blend with partygoers in a mask party to figure out what happened. The killer, however, has claimed another victim before the detective is able to catch him/her.

While helping Jane to solve the murder case, Maura deals with her personal issue. She is on the verge of sharing her secret with her biological mother Dr. Hope Davis (Sharon Lawrence) as she makes a deeper connection with Hope and her half-sister, who still don't know that Maura is related to them.

"Money Maker" is going to air Tuesday, July 3 at 9/8c on TNT.

Recently asked by TV Guide if Hope would figure out about her relationship with Maura, Lawrence said, "Hope kind of senses something just based on Maura's actions, but she doesn't really know what's going on. Their bond is so deep, so strong and so shrouded."

She went on praising for properly reflecting the bond. "It was really so impressive to see Sasha Alexander embody this, capture this and reflect it back. She's such a great actress," she gushed.
