'Wishing @anncurry so much luck in her future...,' so the former co-host of 'The Talk' writes following rumor that Curry will be paid $10 million to leave the NBC show.

AceShowbiz - NBC has not made any announcement regarding Ann Curry's fate on "Today", but Holly Robinson Peete has already offered her support to the news journalist. "Wishing @anncurry so much luck in her future. Tough to be replaced so publicly after so many years... Good Luck Ann!" so tweeted the former "For Your Love" actress, who was dismissed from CBS' "The Talk" in 2011.

Along with the message posted on Monday, June 25, Peete shared a link to an article which covered the story that Curry will be paid $10 million to leave her co-hosting gig. TMZ was the first one which came out with the report, saying that NBC will have to pay Curry such big amount of money because she's under a contract that guarantees her $10 million a year.

The site also learned from network sources that the 55-year-old anchor will become a foreign correspondent for NBC News.

Since it was reported that Curry will be dropped from "Today", Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb have been rumored as candidates to replace her. Meanwhile, in an effort to keep Curry on the morning program, Iraq veteran Sgt. Stephen Crowley launched a petition which has been signed by more than 20,000 people as of press time.
