The gospel singer will pay homage to her late daughter along with 'a few top divas' at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - The life and legacy of Whitney Houston are going to be remembered at the upcoming BET Awards. According to the Associated Press, her gospel singer mother Cissy Houston is set to make a performance along with "a few top divas."

In addition, the July 1 live telecast will see G.O.O.D Music family making their TV debut. Vibes reported that the likes of Big Sean, Pusha T and Kanye West are expected to make merry the event to be hosted by Samuel L. Jackson.

Other musical guests include 2 Chainz, Usher, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. Serving as presenters, meanwhile, are Taraji P. Henson, newly-wed Meagan Good, Kevin Hart and Cedric the Entertainer.

The show will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly will be honored with Cadillac Lifetime Achievement Award, while Reverend Dr. Al Sharpton will receive the 2012 Humanitarian Award.
