AceShowbiz - Due to her history of DUIs and car accidents, Lindsay Lohan reportedly is not allowed to get behind the wheel for the duration of "Liz & Dick" shooting. The rule was stated in the insurance policy the production company of the Elizabeth Taylor biopic took out.
Sources told TMZ that the insurance company initially was extremely reluctant because it would take a major hit if the TV movie couldn't be completed. So, the no-driving rule was set for Lindsay to avoid the actress from getting any trouble that could affect the filming.
The production honchos reportedly knew that Lindsay was driving, but they didn't make a fuss out of it, until she crashed her rented Porche into a semi-truck recently. Post the accident, they made it clear that she would not drive again until the movie was finished.
