In between her sobbing, the Osbourne matriarch says that she changes her attitude from blaming herself to thinking positively because feeling sorry is not helping.

AceShowbiz - Sharon Osbourne was overwhelmed with emotion when talking about her son Jack Osbourne's multiple sclerosis. The cancer survivor discussed her family's latest ordeal during a recent episode of "The Talk", where she served as one of the co-hosts, and broke down into tears in the process.

"He's doing really, really good and I want to thank everyone for all their texts and goodwill and love they send to us," Sharon said with quivering voice when asked about the matter by fellow co-host Julie Chen. Julie herself called Jack "an amazing guy, he's very courageous."

She then asked Sharon again, "What else do you want say Mrs. O?" The Osbourne matriarch replied while sobbing, "Just thank you to everyone for all their good wishes. It's been amazing ... for Jack 'cause I really believe that vibes of prayer help."

Sharon was blaming herself when finding out about the diagnosis, but she realized what she's "doing right now is not helping." So, she echoed Jack's positive outlook. "Because I'm just feeling sorry for myself, and that is no good," she explained. "So we just have to think positively and get on with this show that we love."

On Twitter, Sharon added another thank-you note. "Thank you so much to everyone who has been sending good wishes and good vibes to us. It really means a lot. Thank you," she wrote.

Jack posted on his own page, "Thank you all so much for the kind and inspirational words. It means a lot. #adaptandovercome." His fiancee Lisa Stelly retweeted his message and added, "Proud of you, baby!"

Jack found out about his illness three weeks after welcoming his first daughter Pearl. He got himself checked out in the same hospital Lisa Stelly gave birth to the baby girl. "I'd just had a baby, work was going great... I kept thinking: 'Why now?'," he said.

"While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry. I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized: 'Being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point, if anything it's only going to make it worse... 'adapt and overcome' is my new motto."

Like the other family members, Jack's father Ozzy Osbourne was equally upset. The Black Sabbath rocker said, "If it was me, you'd think: 'Ozzy had a reputation and it caught up with him', but Jack is such a good guy."

Multiple sclerosis is "an incurable autoimmune disease that attacks the brain and central nervous system" and could lead to blindness, slurred speech, muscle weakness and a loss of co-ordination. Jack reportedly has lost 60|percent| of the vision in one of his eyes.
