Perry brings fantasy to her last music video from 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection', recreating Alice in Wonderland among others.

AceShowbiz - Fresh from performing "Wide Awake" at Sunday, June 17 ceremony of Much Music Video Awards, Katy Perry gives a sneak peek of the single's music video. Perry picks a fairy tale theme for her final video from "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection", releasing a pic where she's stuck in the mirror world.
The photo which was posted on MTV is Perry's version of Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass". She fell down a rabbit hole and into a labyrinth filled with mirrors. A teaser trailer of the music video had revealed that "Wide Awake" is the final chapter in a tome about Perry's life.
"I just wanted to tell a story about myself going through this journey, maybe sometimes trying to get out of the maze," she told MTV News. "There's good parts; there's bad parts. Of course, there has been a lot of things that went on last year that I had to get through and overcome. I think what probably kept me going is just the purity of my belief in music."
"Wide Awake" video will have its world premiere on MTV Tuesday, June 19, at 7:53 P.M. ET.
