AceShowbiz - In the wake of Yvette Wilson's passing, many big names in Hollywood were quick to share their thoughts about the late comedian and remember her legacy. Fellow comedian Will Ferrell, Hip-Hop soul singer Lauryn Hill and actor/singer Jamie Foxx were among those who mourned the "Moesha" star.

Ferrell tweeted, "R.I.P: Yvette Wilson who is the character Andell on Moesha & The Parkers. She passed away tonight after battling cervical cancer." Hill wrote, "R.I.P Yvette Wilson (Andell From The Parkers). She recently lost her battle with cancer. Life is short, so cherish yours." Foxx posted, "God bless u Yvette wilson. Tears in my eyes. Keep God laughing."

Shar Jackson, who shared screen with Wilson in "Moesha", also sent a message of condolence on her Twitter. The 35-year-old actress expressed her grief, "I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but god has chosen to take my sister Yvette home." Another co-star Ricky Harris wrote, "RIP 2 my first TV love and friend in a real way Yvette Wilson."

Gabrielle Union wrote, "#RIPYVETTEWILSON Great actress from 'Moesha' & 'The Parkers' She was truly beautiful inside & out. You will be missed. Love & Light." Marlon Wayans remembered Wilson "always a sweetheart," adding, "Need a moment. Y'all join me in my twitter moment of silence respecting a beautiful funny lady & friend."

Countess Vaughn posted, "Good Morning. Prayers for the family and friends of Yvette Wilson who died of Cervix Cancer this morning." Loni Love tweeted, "Heartbreaking News: Yvette Wilson, 48, Andell from 'The Parkers' & Stand Up Comic loses her battle with Cancer."

Yvette Wilson died on Thursday, June 14 at the age of 48 after fighting stage 4 cervical cancer and kidney disease in the past few years.
