Glenn Beck Signs $100 Million Radio Deal With  Premiere Networks

The 'Glenn Beck Program' host has reportedly inked a five-year contract worth of $100 million with Premiere and extended their longstanding alliance in digital media.

AceShowbiz - Glenn Beck has signed a new deal with Premiere Networks to continue distributing his radio show. Financial details in the contract are not disclosed, but a source in the know of the deal told the Associated Press that he has inked a five-year contract worth of $100 million.

If the info is correct, the paycheck with Premiere is twice of Beck's last contract with the Clear Channel subsidiary. The 48-year-old conservative radio host, who left Fox News last April, reportedly got $10 million a year from the company in 2007.

The host of "The Glenn Beck Program" gushed of his partner, "Simply put, Premiere is the best in the business." He added, "Over the past ten years, they have proven to be a true partner in every sense of the word."

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in national radio syndication this year, "The Glenn Beck Program" is the third-highest-rated radio show in the United States. Over the past five years, it has experienced ratings growth of nearly 50|percent|, and has added nearly 200 radio affiliates, bringing its current total to more than 400 stations.

"Since we began our relationship 10 years ago, Glenn has not only built an incredible connection to his audience on multiple platforms, but has also established himself as a true talent and visionary," said Julie Talbott, Premiere Networks president. "We're incredibly proud of the continued growth and success of our partnership with Glenn and Mercury Radio Arts, and look forward to working together for many more years to come."

Premiere and Beck's company, Mercury Radio Arts, have also extended their longstanding alliance to represent Mercury's digital properties, including streaming video network GBTV, news and information site TheBlaze.com, e-commerce marketplace Markdown.com and the fan portal GlennBeck.com, to advertisers and sponsors.

On top of that, GBTV announced a deal with Icebox, the innovative animation production company, to jointly develop an animated comedy series. GBTV features Glenn's show, which airs live weekdays and is broadcast from Dallas, Texas.
