CMT Music Awards 2012: Lady Antebellum and Thompson Square Added to Winner List

Lady A win Group Video of the Year, Keifer and Shawna Thompson get Duo Video of the Year, while Brantley Gilbert receives Nationwide Is On Your Side Award.

More winners were revealed at the live telecast of the 11th Annual CMT Music Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee, Nashville. and followed the footsteps of , , and , who already received a prize each earlier in the Wednesday evening, June 6.

After losing CMT Performance of the Year to Aldean, Lady A triumphantly grabbed Group Video of the Year. They won the title through their "We Owned the Night" clip, beating , , , and .

They were presented the prize by Aldean. joked, "I just walked a mile in these shoes. Thanks first and foremost to the fans. We love you so much." Dave Haywood applauded CMT for still playing music videos, while Charles Kelley gave shout-out to the video director.

Prior to Lady A's win, husband and wife duo Keifer and Shawna Thompson collected Duo Video of the Year. They got double nomination in this category, thanks to "Glass" and "I Got You", and they won it through the latter. They pushed aside , , and . They received the award from Underwood and pro skater Tony Hawk.

Keifer Thompson said, "Wow. This has been an amazing ride for me and Shawna. First, we want to thank God for all the blessings and country fans for changing our lives forever." Shawna chimed in, "It wasn't long ago that we were selling boots and buckles at a store down the street ... so it's sure nice to be getting one."

, who lost his chance to win Breakthrough Video of the Year since it's snatched by McCreery, didn't walk home empty-handed as well. He was awarded Nationwide Is On Your Side Award by CMT.
