The first footage from Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" has been revealed in a trailer preview for the slavery era movie. Being released via ET, the sneak peek offers a few scenes featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as a dastardly plantation owner. Also in the preview, there are glimpses of Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz in several gun-wielding scenes.

Set in 1800s, "Django Unchained" centers on a freed slave who, under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter King Schultz, becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself. After assisting Schultz in taking down some bad guys for profit, he tracks down his slave wife and liberates her from an evil plantation owner Calvin Candie.

The first full trailer will be premiered via ET on Wednesday, June 6, while the movie itself will open wide in the United States on December 25. The Western movie is also supported by a host of notable actors such as Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington, Don Johnson and RZA.

Before the movie arrives in theaters nationwide, it has already received positive reviews when The Weinstein Company introduced a sizzle reel of the flick at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. The footage was highly praised by reviewers for presenting a mixture of sharp humor and brutal violence.
