The songstress, who just gave birth to a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson, gushes about her deal with the weight loss company on Facebook and Twitter.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson, who just gave birth to her first child, is set to lose her post-baby weight and gain back her slim figure with the help of Weight Watchers. She was reported by Us Weekly to have negotiated a $4 million paycheck to become a spokesmodel for the weight loss company. According to ABC News, she scored $3 million in the final deal.

The fiancee of former NFL player Eric Johnson (II) broke the news on her Facebook. "It's official, I'm joining Weight Watchers! The cool thing about the program is that it focuses on healthy habits for the long-term (and I can still indulge in my guilty pleasures every now and then too)," the new mom gushed.

The "Blonde Ambition" actress continued, "I have actually gotten a group of friends together who are going to be doing it with me. You can join me too and we can share our experiences!" On Twitter, she added, "So excited to be a part of the @WeightWatchers family!" She follows the footsteps of Jennifer Hudson, Jenny McCarthy and Ginnifer Goodwin.

Jessica welcomed a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson on Tuesday, May 1 morning, and recently showed her off on the cover of PEOPLE's latest issue. "From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!" she said. "When I look at her my heart melts. I didn't realize how much love I could have."
