Season 2 Finale of 'Game of Thrones' Gets Extra 10 Minutes

The upcoming outing titled 'Valar Morghulis' will run 64 minutes, while the normal episodes clock in at 54 or 55 minutes.

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" will get an extended season 2 finale. While the series' episodes usually run just shy of 55 minutes, the next outing which will air Sunday, June 3 at 9 P.M. ET/PT has an official runtime of 64 minutes, or 10 minutes longer than the normal runtime.

Titled "Valar Morghulis", the last episode of the medieval series' second season deals with the aftermath of the Blackwater battle. As seen in the preview, King Joffrey proclaims Tywin Lannister as the savior of the city while Brienne of Tarth makes it clear that she doesn't serve the Starks.

Meanwhile, according to the official synopsis, Theon stirs his men to action, and Luwin offers some final advice. Brienne silences Jaime, Arya receives a gift from Jaqen, Dany goes to a strange place, and Jon proves himself to Qhorin.
