Jennifer Lopez Addresses Speculation She's Leaving 'American Idol'

Denying the report saying she won't return to the next season of the FOX reality show, the 'Dance Again' singer writes on Twitter, 'All I said was I haven't decided what I am doing next year.'

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez has cleared up speculation saying she's leaving "American Idol". After words ran rampant that she will not reprise her role as a judge on the singing competition next season, the "What to Expect When You're Expecting" star took to her Twitter page to deny the report.

"There is no truth to reports that say I am definitely leaving Idol," so she wrote on Thursday, May 17. "All I said was I haven't decided what I am doing next year." In another tweet, she added, "When I know for sure what I'm doing I will let the #LOVE!RS know!"

The Holly of "The Back-Up Plan" was previously believed to be hinting at her exit from "Idol" when telling Ellen DeGeneres that she's not sure if she will sign up for another season of the show. Admitting that she misses doing other things, she told the host of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", "I don't know if I can go for a third year. It really does lock you down."

After the Thursday, May 17 results show which saw Joshua Ledet's elimination, Randy Jackson commented on the judge line-up for the upcoming season. Asked if J.Lo will still join him and Steven Tyler, he gushed, "Of course [we'd want to carry on this panel]. Next season, 13, 14, 100, but yeah! I mean, of course! We're a nice, happy, gregarious, cool, evanescence kind of family."
