CBS Releases 2012-2013 Fall Schedule and First Preview for New Shows

The Eye inserts four new series in its primetime line-up, including 'Sherlock Holmes'-like drama 'Elementary' and comedic 'Partners' from 'Will and Grace' creators.
CBS Releases 2012-2013 Fall Schedule and First Preview for New Shows

CBS will pair two of its biggest comedies in the upcoming 2012-2013 TV season. "" will air on Thursdays at 8:30 P.M. starting this fall, which means "" will serve as the lead-in.

Taking over "Men" Monday slot is sophomore comedy "". Also getting new time slot, "" will air one hour earlier than it did in its latest season, on Friday at 8 P.M., while "" is moved to Sunday after legal drama "".

There are also four newcomers that will air on CBS starting this fall. To air every Thursday at 10 P.M. after "", "" is described as a modern take on the cases of Sherlock Holmes. It stars and .

Period drama "" will air every Tuesday at 10 P.M. following "". It is set in the 1960s and based on the true story of Ralph Lamb (), a rodeo cowboy-turned-longtime Sheriff of Las Vegas.

Coming from "Will & Grace" creators, "" is set to air on Monday at 8:30 P.M. after "". It is a comedy centering on a personal story of two lifelong friends and their business partners. and play the best buddies, with and co-starring.

The other new show is legal drama "" which will take over "CSI: NY" old time slot, at 9 P.M. on Friday. It follows a working-class woman () who uses her street smarts to compete with her more polished colleagues at a top New York law firm.
