When announcing her break-up from Charlie Hill, the ex-wife of Hulk Hogan tells fans she's thankful that they have been supportive of the relationship despite the age difference.

AceShowbiz - Linda Hogan is back on the single market. The former wife of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan informed her fans on Tuesday, May 15 that she and her 23-year-old fiance, Charlie Hill, have called it quits after being together for about four years. In a Facebook post, she explained that they made the decision after going through therapy and soul-searching.
"Ok... My status has changed. I am now single," the 52-year-old started off the announcement. She went on to dish, "After the great therapy we had together and time to think and concentrate on who we are and who we want to be, Charley and I decided that we should each travel through life in different directions."
The mother of Brooke Hogan and Nick Hogan also expressed her gratitude to fans who have supported her relationship with Charlie despite their age difference. "Thank you all for always being so supportive of our relationship and choices," she noted. "I hope that you all understand and are not be too terribly disappointed. Love you!"
Supporting Linda's statement of the split was her attorney Raymond Rafool. To FOX411's Pop Tarts, he shared, "There was a lot of therapy involved, and the couple realized they needed to do their own thing. The realization came this weekend. But it was a mutual decision, and a whole new chapter for both of them."
Linda and Charlie, who is a former school acquaintance of her daughter, began dating in 2008. The two, who recently appeared on VH1's show "Couple's Therapy", got engaged in 2010. Linda's ex-husband, Hulk, confirmed the engagement report in late July the same year, saying through his publicist, "Hulk is very happy for Linda, and wishes them both well."
