AceShowbiz - Shortly after announcing that it has tapped Robert Pattinson as the leading man in "Mission: Blacklist", Embankment Films wastes no time to unveil the film's very first promotional poster. Instead of revealing a full-body first look at Pattinson in the movie, the freshly released one-sheet focuses on a close-up look at the actor's glowing eyes.

The poster is also filled with an assortment of letters. Some that stand out in white features a tagline that reads, "In a world of lies, only one man can see the truth." Meanwhile, the lower part of the one-sheet displays the name of Saddam Hussein.

Earlier this May, it was reported that Jean-Stephane Sauvaire will direct the military thriller which is based on Eric Maddox and Davin Seay's novel "Mission: Black List #1". Pattinson will star as Maddox, an interrogator who spearheaded the search for the former Iraqi leader.

Set to be shopped at the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival, "Mission: Blacklist" is described by producer Ross M. Dinerstein as "a gripping, edge-of your-seat thriller." The producer recently told The Baltimore Sun, "I have been inspired by Robert and Jean-Stehphane's dedication to tell this story in the most authentic way possible."

In addition to "Mission: Blacklist", other Pattinson-starring thriller "Cosmopolis" will be sold in Cannes. The actor himself will next be seen returning to his famous vampire movie "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II", which will open wide in the United States on November 16.
