Jermaine Paul delivers an 'elegant' performance of 'I Believe I Can Fly', while Juliet Simms does an amazing job with a cover of 'Free Bird' despite her throat issues.

AceShowbiz - On Monday, May 7, Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca, Chris Mann and Juliet Simms performed for the last time before one of them is crowned the winner of "The Voice" season 2. Jermaine of team Blake Shelton kicked off the show with his rendition of "I Believe I Can Fly". Adam Levine called it engaging and elegant, while Christina Aguilera said, "You just sing with so much heart."

For a tribute performance to his coach Blake, the former backup singer of Alicia Keys sang "God Gave Me You". The two later collaborated on a soulful song "Soul Man", which took the country crooner out of his comfort zone.

Representing team Adam, Tony once again showed his creativity by turning Jay-Z's "99 Problems" into a folk song. "What a really cool version of that song," Blake sang his praise, but X-tina said the song was "a little derogatory toward women." Responding to the criticism, coach Adam revealed a black V-neck with "Team Xtina" written in pink glitter.

In another performance, Tony sang Maroon 5's "Harder to Breathe" to his mentor. He later joined forces with the frontman of the rock band to deliver a cover of The Beatles' "Yesterday" with the former Mouseketeer strumming a guitar.

X-tina's protege Chris sang Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" for his final performance. Showing off his vocal, he earned praises from Cee-Lo Green who declared, "You are, by far, one of the most incomparable vocalists I've ever heard." He also moved his coach who said in tears, "Every show you've really shown you've gotten here by true talent and voice alone."

For his Thank You performance, Chris sang "The Voice Within" while a letter he wrote to his coach was projected on the screens behind him. The two later delivered a duet of "The Prayer". "We connected so perfectly together, it was effortless," so the "Fighter" hitmaker gushed in a montage of their rehearsal.

Juliet of team Cee-Lo had throat issues, but she sang like a pro when covering Lynard Skynyrd's "Free Bird". "I don't know, man. No one sings like you. It was incredible," Adam commented. Expressing confidence that his team will win, the Gnarls Barkley star said, "With Juliet Simms on my team, I have no problems."

Juliet then sang "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley in honor of her mentor. For their duet, the edgy duo found a song that suited both of them, which was Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild".
