Will Ferrell Vying for Congress in 'The Campaign' Faux Political Ad
Movie

Ferrell's Cam Brady is competing against Zach Galifianakis' Marty Huggins to represent their North Carolina congressional district in the House of Representatives.

AceShowbiz - Will Ferrell is eyeing to be a U.S. congress member in a faux political ad for "The Campaign". The ad shows Ferrell playing a congressional candidate named Cam Brady, who seems to promote democracy, equality for women and good education for children.

Brady is at one point having a war of words with his rival Marty Huggins, played by Zach Galifianakis. Unlike Brady who looks very ambitious with his political idealism, Higgins is featured more like a family man who has a peaceful life.

"The Campaign" follows two rival politicans who are trying to win an election to represent a North Carolina congressional district in the House of Representatives. Directed by Jay Roach, the comedy also stars Dylan McDermott, Jason Sudeikis, John Lithgow and Dan Aykroyd.

Warner Bros. Pictures has scheduled to release the movie in the United States on August 10.
