AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Mira Sorvino. The "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" actress has welcomed her second daughter, Lucia, on Thursday, May 3 in Los Angeles, her representative confirmed.

Baby Lucia is the Oscar winner's fourth child with Christopher Backus, whom she married in a private Santa Barbara ceremony in June 2004 after dating for one year. She joins older sister, 7-year-old Mattea, and brothers, 5-year-old Johnny and 2-year-old Holden.

44-year-old Sorvino and 30-year-old Backus have also shared their joy over the arrival of their newest family member. In a statement to PEOPLE, the happy couple said, "We are thrilled beyond measure to have been blessed with our fourth precious, healthy child."

Ever since she became a mother, the "Mighty Aphrodite" star has tuned down her acting career. "I don't want to take time away from my kids," she explained to Parade in 2010. "Kudos to women who can pull that off, but I don't want my kids raised by nannies. I have the best children and husband. I'm really, really blessed."

Sorvino will next be seen starring opposite Patti LuPone and Tammy Blanchard in "Union Square", which will come out in the U.S. in July. Her husband Backus will make his directorial debut this summer with "The Sessionist".
