The aspiring country music singer, who finishes fifth on 'Idol' season 11, additionally reveals her plan to move to Nashville to get closer to the home of country music artists.

AceShowbiz - In an interview post "American Idol" elimination on Thursday night, May 3, Skylar Laine revealed her duet dream. The fifth-place finisher, who's from Brandon, Mississippi, named two country music crooners Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore on her wish list.

"It would be my dream to write with Miranda and do a duet," she gushed to reporters. "Justin Moore is another one of my inspirations - Miranda and Justin are my idols and I'd love to do a duet with both of them. Hopefully one day I will be able to!"

Skylar covered songs by the wife of Blake Shelton three times on the singing competition. She took on "Hell on Heels" by Miranda's Pistol Annies on the audition, did "Gunpowder & Lead" on the first part of Hollywood round, and repeated it on the top 9 performance show.

Although her country roots might have played part in turning off voters, Skylar was unapologetic about it. "It's definitely a conscious decision," she said. "I've accepted the fact that if I get to make an album and put singles out, they're probably only going to be played on country radio - that's just the way it is and that's the way my songs are going to sound. I've accepted that."

In order to achieve her goal of recording a country album, Skylar planned to move to Nashville after completing "Idol" tour which will start this summer. "I'm going to move to Nashville because that's where country music is and that's where country artists record - that's where I want to be," she spilled.
