Video Premiere: Nelly Furtado's 'Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)'

May 4, 2012, 4:55 am GMT

Through the vibrant visualization on the newly-debuted music video, the 'Promiscuous' hitmaker explains why the bigger is the better.

An extremely tall Nelly Furtado creates spectacle in a music video for her brand new single "Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)". She walks down the street, unfazed by the stares she receives from people around her. Staying true to the title of the song, she also wears big hoop earrings and dances with hoop dancers in vibrant-colored scenes.

"Big Hoops" is confirmed for Nelly's fifth studio album "The Spirit Indestructible" which is going to come out in the United States on June 19. The song was co-written by her with the help from top-notch music maker Rodney Jerkins, who also served as its producer.

"This album is all about positivity, youth, good energy, and the relentlessness of the spirit," she said. "I want people to live this music the way we did when we wrote it. I want them to jump, dance, scream, laugh, cry, love, and vibe to it, and to turn it up very loud everywhere."
