AceShowbiz - Brand new trailer for "The Expendables 2" has finally been unleashed in full. Making its way out via IGN, the promo video is jam-packed with explosion scenes and dead defying stunts from a host of hunky actors. Introduced by Sylvester Stallone, the intense trailer presents the A-list action stars in various battle scene in both the jungle and the city streets.
Stallone's Barney Ross and the gang are back with new members Billy the Kid and Maggie. They are set to embark on another adventure after Mr. Curch enlists the team to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries.
However, when things go wrong and one of them is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time.
In addition to Stallone, the sequel to 2010's "The Expendables" will bring back Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture and Terry Crews. Joining the returning thesps are Chuck Norris, Liam Hemsworth, Yu Nan and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
"Expendables 2" is directed by Simon West and is slated for an August 17 release in cinemas across the United States.
