First 'Skyfall' Teaser Trailer Screened at CinemaCon
Movie

The first promo video for the 23rd James Bond movie puts its focus on an interrogation scene where agent 007 plays what seems to be a word association game with his interrogator.

AceShowbiz - A very first teaser trailer for highly anticipated James Bond film "Skyfall" has been screened at the 2012 CinemaCon in Las Vegas. During a Sony Pictures panel on Wednesday, April 25, Sony's President of Worldwide Distribution Rory Bruer presented the exclusive sneak peek which sees agent 007 in an interrogation session.

The video opens with the interrogation scene where Daniel Craig's Bond is looking at the city of London. Then, there is someone speaking on the voiceover, "Country", to which Bond replies, "England." It seems like the agent is playing some sort of word association game. Then, the other man says, "Gun", while Bond responds, "Shot." The next words is "Agent" to which Bond responds, "Provocateur", as well as "Murder" to which the agent answers, "Employment."

On the other side of the interrogation room, Judi Dench's M and Ralph Fiennes' Mallory are seen standing behind a two-way mirror with an unidentified man. Meanwhile, the interrogator keeps asking Bond more words. However, when the interrogator says, "Skyfall", Bond doesn't immediately reply. When the man repeats the same word for the second time, the 007 agent finally says, "Done", before getting up and leaving the room.

After that, the video rolls to glimpses at different scenes, including the one which shows Bond running through cars in London in what looks like a chase scene. He is at one point also featured standing on a barge in front of a Macao casino with giant dragons in the background. There is also a quick glimpse at a subway car crash. The video ends with Bond saying, "Some men are coming to kill us. We've got to kill them first."

During the panel, Rory Bruer also confirmed that Sony is preparing a follow-up to "Skyfall". While the 24th James Bond movie is slated for a 2014 U.S. release, the 3rd movie itself, which is directed by Sam Mendes, will open nationwide this November 9.

In "Skyfall", Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, the British spy must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Also supporting the movie are Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe and Ben Whishaw.
