Witnessing the 'Raven' actor unveil the 2,469th star on Hollywood Boulevard are sister Joan Cusack and fellow actors Billy Bob Thornton, Jack Black and Dan Aykroyd.

AceShowbiz - John Cusack has become the latest actor being presented with his star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. On Tuesday, April 24, the "Being John Malkovich" actor was honored with the 2,469th star at the unveiling ceremony, which was held in front of the Larry Edmunds Bookshop on Hollywood Boulevard.

Celebrated for his accomplishments in his nearly 30-year career, the 45-year-old actor received his star from Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president Leron Gubler. On hand to deliver pleasing speech about him was his sister Joan Cusack and three fellow actors, Billy Bob Thornton, Jack Black and Dan Aykroyd. Also present at the ceremony was director-producer Joe Roth.

Upon receiving the honor, John told the crowd, "I love working with actors, I love being around them, they're such great spirits." He added, "To the best of my knowledge, I've tried to screw my career up as much as I possibly could, but even with all my best efforts to screw it up, I managed to have lasting friendships, and some of the best friends I've ever met in the business."

John has starred in various movies throughout his career, among them were "Sixteen Candles", "The Thin Red Line", "Runaway Jury", "2012" and "Hot Tub Time Machine". He received a Golden Globe award nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical in 2000 for his role in "High Fidelity". His latest movie, "The Raven", will open wide in the U.S. on April 27.
