'Les Miserables' Debuts First Minimalist Teaser Poster at CinemaCon

In addition to the simple one-sheet of 'Les Miserables', first posters from films like '47 Ronin', 'To Rome with Love' and 'Seven Psychopaths' are displayed on the event's venue at the Caesars Palace.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hooper's much-talked-about upcoming musical film "Les Miserables" has unveiled its very first teaser poster. The one-sheet is displayed on the venue of this year's CinemaCon, which takes place at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Coming Soon has shared a snapshot of the teaser poster, which features a minimalist white design. Without presenting any of the characters, the simple one-sheet recycles an image from the Broadway musical added with a list of the film's cast.

In addition to the teaser poster for "Les Miserables", which will open wide in the U.S. on December 14, there are some other one-sheets of several upcoming big movies that will be previewed at the CinemaCon.

Screen Gems debuted a poster for "Resident Evil: Retribution" featuring an image of Milla Jovovich and a slogan that reads "Think Global. Kill Local". Universal Pictures, meanwhile, presented a first poster for Keanu Reeves' "47 Ronin". Designed in a minimalist way, it only shows a couple of green wisps.

On the other hand, Sony Pictures Classic debuted a white-themed first poster for Woody Allen's "To Rome with Love". Relativity Media unveiled first "House at the End of the Street" one-sheet that shows Jennifer Lawrence standing on the back of a door.

Other new posters displayed on the CinemaCon venue are those from such movies as Colin Farrell and Woody Harrelson's dramedy "Seven Psychopaths", Ethan Hawke's horror "Sinister", and Judd Apatow's comedy "This Is Forty" among others.

There are a number of anticipated movies which are set to be previewed at CinemaCon. Earlier today, it was announced that Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" will unveil up to 10-minute clip at the event. The sneak peek will be shown in 3D at 48 frames per second during a Warner Bros. Pictures' presentation.

This year's CinemaCon will run from April 23 to 26.
