The 2009 'Idol' winner plays his new single 'The Vision of Love', while Redfoo and SkyBlu get wild with 'Sorry for Party Rocking'.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" continued its tradition to parade its alums. After welcoming back two of its graduates Jennifer Hudson and James Durbin last week, the singing competition saw Kris Allen returning to the "Idol" stage along with electro/pop duo LMFAO.

Allen was introduced by Taylor Hicks from season 5 and host Ryan Seacrest. The 2009 "Idol" winner played a piano on a rotating platform and delivered his new single "The Vision of Love" from second album "Thank You Camellia", while audience lighted up the set with glowsticks.

"Always nice to go back to @AmericanIdol," Allen wrote on Twitter. He got full support from fellow season 8 alum Adam Lambert who tweeted to him, "Excited to hear you sing Vision of Love." In response, he replied, "Thanks man! Its gonna be fun."

As for Redfoo and SkyBlu, the duo kicked off their performance with a brief skit before throwing a rowdy party with a bunch of dancers. They pumped up the crowd with their club anthem "Sorry for Party Rocking" and brought a dancing zebra with them.

Colton Dixon got eliminated that night. After learning his fate, he said, "I need to apologize. I wasn't myself last night, and I get it." To the judges, he stated, "I appreciate what you told me last night. I'll take that when I'm making a record."

Dick Clark was once again remembered on the singing competition. Seacrest narrated a montage that mostly compiled footage from his groundbreaking variety show "American Bandstand". He said of the late star, "He was a remarkable man and left a rich legacy for audiences around the world."
