Three New Clips From Wes Anderson's 'Moonrise Kingdom' Come Out

One of the clips sees Tilda Swinton confronting Bruce Willis and Edward Norton, while another one features Jason Schwartzman telling a young couple to reconsider marriage.

AceShowbiz - More sneak peeks at Wes Anderson's new film "Moonrise Kingdom" have been made available. As the drama movie about two twelve-year-olds who fall in love and run away together comes closer to its premiere date at the 65th Cannes Film Festival, three brand new clips are brought forth for viewing pleasure.

One clip comes out via The AV Club. Around 40 seconds long, the snippet puts its focus on three Hollywood stars, Tilda Swinton, Bruce Willis and Edward Norton. In it, Swinton's Social Services administrator berates Willis' local sheriff and Norton's Scout leader because one of the kids they are supposed to be looking after gets struck by lightning.

Another clip makes its debut via MSN. It presents the scene wherein Sam briefs Suzy about his runaway plan. The last clip is released by HitFix. It highlights on the scene in which Jason Schwartzman's Scout Master Ward advises Sam and Suzy to reconsider their decision to get married at such a young age.

"Moonrise Kingdom" is set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965. It follows Sam and Suzy as they fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore, and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.

Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward take the role of the young couple, while Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray Suzy's parents. The drama film, which is set to open in U.S. theaters on May 25, has been set as the opening film for the 65th Cannes Film Festival that will be kicked off May 16.
